The Astrology of Eclipses: Why You Shouldn't Manifest During an Eclipse
The Cosmic Reset Buttons
In astrology, Eclipses are wildcards. They are dramatic, unpredictable, and powerful cosmic events that trigger fated life changes. If your life is a movie, an eclipse is a massive plot twist.
Eclipses happen when the Sun and Moon align with the Lunar Nodes (Rahu and Ketu). Because Rahu and Ketu represent karma, destiny, and the shadow side, eclipses are heavily tied to our spiritual evolution.
Solar vs. Lunar Eclipses
Solar Eclipses (New Moon): These represent massive new beginnings. However, because the light of the Sun (ego/authority) is temporarily blocked, these new beginnings often come through unexpected, sometimes shocking events. A sudden job offer, a surprise pregnancy, or a sudden move.
Lunar Eclipses (Full Moon): These represent major endings and culminations. The light of the Moon (emotions) is shadowed. This is when secrets are revealed, toxic relationships abruptly end, and emotional baggage is forcefully cleared out.
Why You Should NEVER Manifest During an Eclipse
The modern spiritual community loves to manifest on New Moons. But doing so on a Solar Eclipse is highly advised against in Vedic astrology. Eclipse energy is chaotic, shadowed by Rahu and Ketu, and highly unpredictable.
Instead of trying to force the universe to give you what you want, an eclipse is a time to surrender. The universe is already making the necessary changes for your higher good. Step back, rest, take a spiritual bath, and let the cosmic dust settle.
